But in all seriousness, are you 100% sure the password is correct? You are able to login from your desktop right now fresh with the same password? (Not using a PW manager)
In terms of the App, I can tell you what I think is happening is that Apple uses a different type of apostrophe ‘ symbol that’s not a standard character, in order to give it that curved look. So the app thinks you are trying to log in as someone else. I think I’ve made that correction and am just making a few more small corrections before sending this new version out.
I wonder if the iPad on safari is doing the same thing, but until today nobody else has complained about this, so I’m not sure

It's always Apple's problem.
I worked for Apple for 15 years and if I had a dollar for every time a dev or IT guy blamed Apple for something, I'd have retired 5 years earlier than I did.
