IDK. IMHO they should have kept him for that ‘veteran’ presence’ and look at them now. Shitty ownership/shitty head coach and makes you wonder why the Jets didn’t give the job to Mike McCarthy. Maybe he wanted too much power from ownership but I thought he would have fit in well IF ownership allowed it. They were afraid and balked.
