You've described the steering wheel on my 35i, right down to the plastic ///M badge. I was surprised when it arrived with this wheel fitted, as I wasn't expacting it, but I certainly didn't complain. I prefer the thicker rim and lack of brushed metal on the M wheel over the standard tiller.
