I am a noob. Just picked up a CPO 2015 Z4 sDrive28i. It's a real base model without iDrive and with just the basic BMW Professional Radio. No screen.
I love CarPlay and would like to upgrade to be able to use it as my NAV. I could go with a magnetic mount and just use the phone, but I would like to see how your option 3 looks like with the screen in and out. If you go that direction, I would love to see pictures.
