I used to do the weekday beater thing and it eventually got old. Driving an old Honda or VW 90% of the time while you have a beast just sitting in the garage is tough to sort out mentally, let alone justify.
Once I became full time wfh, I decided to consolidate and now my fun car and my daily is an X3M comp. Best decision I ever made.
