THIS makes more sense to me. My 335i is a 2nd car, I have a daily driver SUV as well. The 335i sits in the garage and only get's driven if the roads are dry.
Side note, I had to drop her off last night for service. Rain/storms were in the forecast. I was actually a little worried about leaving her in the service shops parking lot overnight. My girlfriend got a good laugh out of that.
