I like my Mercury coverage.
My sister gets the best deal at Wawanesa. They offer low prices because once you are at fault with an issue, they cancel your insurance or force you to cancel by raising the rates a lot (so i've heard)
I can't believe insurance is so much. My wife's comprehensive insurance on a 2014 MY car is less than my comprehensive insurance for a 2000 Honda!
edit: also USAA is a great choice if you qualify. They seem to be pretty upstanding.
