Here is an interesting letter (Canada centric but I suspect translates to other countries as well) on the outlook to get to net zero, Canada will have to double it hydro capacity and transmission capacity. I don't think it can be done in the timeframe allotted given government red tape etc. and the cost will be staggering. I also think it's going to have a significantly negative impact on the standard of living for a great many of us. Food for thought.
