You mean more reliable than a subaru that goes through 3 motors in the first 60,000km, and the issues of the Honda, ever since they went turbocharged?

I had 285,000km on my N55 before I traded it in, and it had very little issues (gaskets, consumables.) it made double the power reliably for 150,000km, and I even tracked it every summer, drove it at -25C winters for 7.5 years.

In my 7.5 years since I owned the 335i, I've seen more hondas and subarus on the side of the road than BMW.
I agree. Had 03 tls and xmsn died at 95k mi but was covered due to class action settlement. Brakes were undersized and warped all the time … hated them. Nav with hvac soft keys was garbage.

Then got 08 tl type s and engine seized at 65k mi. Had to file lawsuit even with ext wrnty to get Honda to cover replacement. Leather was paper thin and started to crack after 30k mi. Understeering pig. Sold it and got e90. Wow what a diff. All problems solved!

Never again will I buy Honda/Acura and Nissan/Infiniti garbage.

Now on my second e90 with n55 manual as dd and she is excellent.
