I just drilled a small hole thru the plastic and into sheet metal by the trunk light. Tapped into the battery and put a switch inside car just near rear hatch compartment. Also i installed a 12volt plug near hatch so it has constant power. Its where my usb charger is plugged in for tablet. Tablet always charging. I manually power my camera because the time delay. Takes about 10 seconds for app to see wifi and engage. Way to long. So i hit the switch way ahead of time. I can even drive and look in back of me on the road. Dont tap into Reverse lights the delay is way to long.
