I have to give cliff notes on mine:
I had just recently become single after a 4 year stint. BMW's yearly conference was in Vegas and I was asked to go by my dealer. I had never been and had no desire to go to Vegas nor "socialize" after the recent breakup.
Upon night entry to McCarran I saw the lights and thought maybe this won't be so bad.

Knowing some club rats from NJ they told us to hit Rum Jungle in Mandalay Bay the 1st night.
I proceeded to intoxicate myself with liquid courage to talk to a nice young lady. We chatted and she tried to leave but I told her I wasn't done talking to her. Her reply was "What's the sense, you're from NJ and I'm from WI"
To this I said lets go to dinner tomorrow and if you don't want to be friends I'll leave you alone.

We spent the next few nights "dating" in Vegas....Vegas style, limos, dinners, drinks, clubs....and my dealership covered it all. I got home and immediately told her I needed to see her again but NJ was too cold in February so Ill meet you in Miami. Since it was my offer, it was only right to pay for her flight.
After Miami she moved to NJ that April, and we have been together 17yrs now.
