you realize that as the car is moving, cold fresh air is inducted into the engine bay, which is what the dual cones "suck" in. Your statement is true for a car that is idling only. Also, recommending people "race" before the car reaches normal operating temp is a recipe for disaster, more so if you are running a tune.
