I figured this was something that may happen when Porsche was interested in Red Bull that AlphaTauri wasn't really needed as a sister team and now that Red Bull has Ford, there really isn't much need for AlphaTauri from a cost perspective.
AlphaTauri as it stands looks like a good acquisition for those wanting to enter F1.
