Start from the bottom, pulling backward, wedge in with a flat trim tool (wider one helps - I prefer having a
kit like this.) The pieces will not break - they are not clips but rather a ball and socket, so it will come apart. Starting from the bottom will have you fight just the bottom-most ball socket. Once it starts spreading, pull on the back.
