If the car looks modified or resprayed the value goes down even further because normal buyers won't want to deal with it, and enthuasiasts who will deal will it will try to squeeze you hard when they negotiate.

Even putting a car back to stock is noticable (unless you take the time to use brand new bolts and gaskets and are very careful not to damage the clips and tabs on the undertray).

I would leave it like that or just touch up the scratch because that way it is obvious the damage is very minor. a resprayed bumper will make people question the severity of the crash and negotiate your selling price lower.

Sorry this happened man... its exactly the reason why i am SUPER paranoid and don't let anyone that I don't 110% trust drive the car.
