Yea that really got me. As a father, that was tough to watch. I love celebrating the successes, however small they may be, of my children.
I've listened to a podcast with Mick on it. His parents did a great job raising him it seems. Very mature, confident, self aware kid. Hope he achieves whatever professional goals he has. And always praying for Michael…. |
You know, everyone's waiting to see if Mick has inherited any of his fathers "skill" behind the wheel. It just hit me. You know what he did get from his father? The grit and tenacity. You've gotta be one tough individual to see that accident happen to your father with your own eyes at age 14 and manage to stay this strong for yourself and your family. What a tough kid.
