BMW has recently revealed its LCI ("Life Cycle Impulse") update to the venerable Z4, an LCI update that is very mild. For good measure, the Z4 is one of the most beautiful BMW roadsters to date. This video released by BMW today helps showcase the car with a soothing soundtrack and nice background.

Enjoy!

The Z4 is one BMW's top current designs. It dares to be different and it benefits from that. Only thing that holds it back from being a sales hit, is the price.

Something about that car I enjoy looking at: The flowing lines.

Must be the last model - My 1er vert allows this under 25 mph.

I remember reading somewhere that they redesigned some moving parts on the roof of the new facelift model in order to operate the roof at higher speed.

Great video. IMHO one of the sexiest, if not the sexiest car in BMW's current lineup

Still priced too high and lacking direction. A Boxster is a much better sports car and the SLK is cushier and has more gadgets. It's beautiful though, inside and out.

About a year ago BMW Z4 was leasing for a fantastic price. It was $4 hundred and something with little down. I considered leasing one cause the deal but just to feminine for me. Good looking car though.

If they blacked-out the roll bars it might not look that way maybe as much.

There is also something raw about a cloth top, this car is lacking... And furthermore the headroom sucks accordingly.

If they made an S65-powered M version of this, I might seriously consider upgrading from my '06 M Roadster. The 35is might be faster than my s54 powered car, but no way it's as fun.

COME ON BMW, WE ALL KNOW THE S65 FITS IN THE CAR. DO IT.

Exactly, the Z4 have too much competition.
There is a limited market for a small hardtop convertible roadster. Even smaller when the price are $50k+.

Boxter, while a great car, is not a hardtop. The Z4's primary competitor is the SLK. And IMHO the Z4 is the better car - more performance and better looks for similar prices.

So it says alot when the only changes are side grills and revised headlights...Timeless design that needs no changes.
