Advice on ESS Flash - New 2009 2010 BMW Z4

Hello Gents. I have seen the term ESS Flash around the forums a bit and after googling it, I understand that it removes the speed limiter and otherwise boosts performance. Does this help with the 0-60 time as well? If I'm just going to be driving it on the street and freeway, is it worth the $800 bucks or so? I know that my first upgrade will be my tires, to Michelin PSS, but early next year I was thinking about the next upgrade. My car info is to the left

not sure what can be done for 28i but i know it works well for 35i

I haven't checked the Z4 28i but my last browse on realoem.com for the F30 328 suggested no separate oil cooler.

My thought is to see how hot the car gets during your usual driving to assess whether it is worth it.

I've seen limp mode threads for the 328i so might not be worth it depending on how hard you drive.
