Need Help Choosing Options.

Hi,

I'm looking to order a z4 but need help figuring out what comes standard vs what needs to be added using options/packages. Three questions which I am having difficulty finding an answer for:

1. Is the pass through to the trunk standard? I saw the option for the through loading system with the bag but have no need for that. I just need something that will let me throw items into the trunk from the passenger area.

2. I don't have a need for navigation/iDrive. However, I do want to play my iPod classic in the car. On my current car, I simply use a aux input. I see that there is an iPod/USB adapter option, but without the navi/iDrive, is the only benefit of the adapter the ability to change songs with the steering wheel? I feel like navigating the iPod folders using just the radio buttons will be more painful than just connecting the iPod via aux and changing songs using the iPod directly. If I don't get the iPod/USB adapter option, will the car still come with an Aux input standard?

3. I also don't have any interest in BMW Assist. However, I'd like to be able to use my phone hands free in the vehicle. Does the car come standard with bluetooth hands free phone capability or do I need to get the BMW Assist option for that?

I'm sold on getting an 30i with the m-sport pack. Will not be getting premium package. Still debating on the cold weather pack (or taking only bits/pieces) and the premium sound pack. I heard the standard sound system today, and although its bad, I think its passable.

Thanks.

Whats up bro! Youre getting a Z4 too! hhahah

Im pretty sure the pass through is not standard, you have to order it separately or get the cold weather pkg to get it.

Not sure about #2

I dont think BT is standard, pretty sure you have to get BMW assist with Bluetooth Pkg to have BT.

No, this is part of the cold weather package and is individually selectable as an option

Yes, AUX input is standard.

Bluetooth is optional and individually selectable

Thanks.
All your question can be answered on the "mybmw" page

Thanks, the standard features vs options was helpful.

Still unsure about how useful the ipod/usb adapter is without idrive/navi but there were a few threads on the e90 forums that helped.

If you're in the States, your Z4 is going to have iDrive whether you want it or not.

M,
ONLY if you buy something off the lot that happened to be configured that way. Our new 35i does NOT have idrive or NAV,

Really? I honestly believed all US Z4's had the iDrive controller and that those without nav had a smaller display.
