golf club space

Is it possible to fit a whole bag of golf clubs in the Z4, even with the top down? Wanna get into golfing soon, and just curious if i can take my cool toy, or have to drive the SUV...

See my post here - http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewto...210588#p210588

I put my golf bag in the car with the roof down regularly and no longer use the ski bag so the clubs just protrude into the cabin a little. However, although I carry a full set of clubs the bag is a relatively narrow carry bag. In fact I can get both my wife's and my full set of clubs in the car with the roof down as long as I use small carry bags.

By preference I use an A Frame golf carrier - http://golf.about.com/cs/equipmentre.../theaframe.htm - which I have used even before i had the Z4.

My old Z4 was specifically claimed to hold 2 full sets of clubs. I don't gold, so I don't know. It certainly did hold full luggage for 2 for an international trip (with the top down).

The greatly diminished trunk capacity was one of the reasons I held off for so long in getting a new Z4.

I have a regular sized golf bag and it would fit through the pass through but it wasn't exactly ideal since I was trying to fit two normal sized bags into the trunk. Turns out that if you're alone it works but if there are two of you and you don't have a slim golf bag it'll require your passenger to carry their set in the cabin.

I need to get a new bag which I'll have to chose based on whether it'll efficiently fit into the trunk.
