jerky acceleration
...has anyone experienced this?
I have noticed this a few times now. When i am accelerating there is a certain jerkyness. It is not always there. At first i thought it would be the winter tires but i dont think it is the tires slipping. I will be changing the tires soon and will try it again. Hope its nothing too serious. |

Had this happen about a week ago, rounding a corner, accidentally "double tapped" the paddles and dropped 2 gears and the car lurched twice, quite badly (almost enough the cause an involuntary biological event
). Pretty un-nerving, but hasn't happened since.

well, as i said i cannot put my finger on it. anyway, i have now changed tires and wheels and will try again over the next couple of days. to be honest, i did not pay attention to the traction lights. will look out for that as well. it all takes only a second or two and disappears. it happened on full auto mode, i have dct. the feeling was like it did not fall into gear properly or skipped a cog or three!!
