jerky acceleration

...has anyone experienced this?

I have noticed this a few times now. When i am accelerating there is a certain jerkyness. It is not always there. At first i thought it would be the winter tires but i dont think it is the tires slipping. I will be changing the tires soon and will try it again.

Hope its nothing too serious.

could be traction issue due to the tyres. Do you see the yellow traction light flickering when the jerks happen?

Garage List
Had this happen about a week ago, rounding a corner, accidentally "double tapped" the paddles and dropped 2 gears and the car lurched twice, quite badly (almost enough the cause an involuntary biological event). Pretty un-nerving, but hasn't happened since.

well, as i said i cannot put my finger on it. anyway, i have now changed tires and wheels and will try again over the next couple of days. to be honest, i did not pay attention to the traction lights. will look out for that as well. it all takes only a second or two and disappears. it happened on full auto mode, i have dct. the feeling was like it did not fall into gear properly or skipped a cog or three!!
