My 2009 sdrive 23i Z4 black with design pure white (Update on page 3) - Page 4 - New 2009 2010 BMW Z4

2 questions

1) Did you cut the original antenna or get the smaller bmw original antenna ?

2) 19's give you a hard time for riding the car, is that the reason you switch to 18's ?

By the way 18's look good too.. 5 spoke design rims always look perfect on bmw cars..

Five spokes (Type 230) are also 19"!!

And they look great on the car! First time I've seen them on a Z4!!

I would certainly like to have done a back to back test with the 18" wheels (my Z4 has 19's). The 19's can at times feel a bit harsh and crash over uneven road surfaces and you do hear a lot of road noise. They look superb

, but they really are style over function!

I just borrowed them from a friend of mine. So iI dont have any more pictures on Z4. I dont know f the order came tru today, but hope to have them next week. Will post some more pictures next week. One car we have for sales has them http://www.finn.no/finn/car/object?finnkode=17228006

Regarding the antenna I just took the old one of and pulled of the plastic top. Then I cut it down as high as i wanted to. Had to make the "pole" a litte smaller/thinner but that was easy. Sorry for bad english. Say so if you dont understand!

To be honest I like the rims with which you ordered the car with way better. They suit the design of the Z4 more. But to be honest I never liked these wheels (230). On the E92/93 I would prefer the 189 design (18-inch) above the 230's (19-inch). But lucky everyones taste differs cause else we were all driving the same car. Would be quit boring!

Good not everybody like the same things!! Then all cars would look the same.

This is my third sett of starspoke 230. I LIKE them.

I have recived them now and also the carbon fiber "front".

i am not sure if i am going to paint them in black or cep them carbon.
What do you guys think?

I have now change the wheels on the car(also changed the run flat tires).
I painted the grill of the car in black sapphire and but on the carbon splitters in front. You can also se the small antenna.

Hope you like it, I do!!

The splitters are BMW made, I work at a dealership and I orderd at work.

The short antenna work fine. I just cut it of. I shall test it out on a long trip this weekend.

richard in NC: I agree a littel bit, but they guys at work wouldent let me do it. I also wonder if it would se a littel but stupid. Becauce it is not on the hold front so you would see the eges very good!

GuyHo I hav had those rims on one e-91 and one e-92! I devided that i had to have them on this car also. It is my thirid set and would probably have it one all the cars i can put it on!!!
