Has the old shifter, huh.

I love the interior. I'd say it's as aesthetically appealing as the new Audi interiors, which is saying a LOT.

The old shifter is there if you go for the 6 speed auto.
7 speed DCT gets the new one but I think DCT only goes with the 35i.

The US bound cars will have front PDC, which is good. I also noticed the normal shifter in one of the cars (similar to the 3 series) and the new shifter in the other. So is that some kind of an option?

I like the way all BM's look but could wouldn't describe any of them as beautiful, until this one.

This is the best looking BM for many years. I like the current Z4 but this blows it away. Could almost be called as Z6 as it seems to be a lot beefier.

It sure does blow the current Z4 away! It is a huge improvement IMHO.
