Sounds great Alex! Congratulations.
Be warned though, you might get tempted to change your mind on the colour combo as you see more photos, but stick with it. They all look awesome in the flesh. Yours is probably the spec I would have gone for if I had the opportunity to make a special order. Hope you get a chance to bring it down this way! I should be on my second set of tyres by November... I only got 10,000 out of each set of the Re050's on my old Mazda...

Hehe thanks guys Hopefully everything will go smoothly
Stig: that's pretty fast wear...you must have really driven the Mazda hard. The record for me changing tires (and this is with no abuse/burn outs) is 4500km on a set of Toyo RA1! Treadwear rating 40! |

You will love it. Got 1050 miles on mine and the thing is quick as hell just revving to 4500 and ripping through the gears. The exhaust note is cool as well. No complaints or regrets at all so far.

As others said you might change your mind on the color combination. You have 6 weeks I think before delivery to do so. Have you seen the Alpine White exterior and extended red leather interior? The combination looks very smart and is a head turner

Yes I have seen the white and red combo. It is a very good combination, but my fiance reckons it's a bit feminine...it would be a combo she would go for if the car was hers
I think I would get a bit bored of a red interior over time myself. |

You only notice when you walk towards th car in my experience - then the drivign takes over as the red mist falls over your eyes... (With apologies to James May)

Ahh, but I was being serious. Capt Slow himself wrote an article recently and described the red mist coming over him and taking control when he looked at cars he liked.
He was talking about a Z4 he had for a week long review, saying it nearly talked him into swapping his Boxster for one. Of course, being James, the article ended when he drove by a glass shop front and realised he looked like a "cock" with his flowered shirt and moppish hair, sitting in a beemer.
