3M clearbra on bumper only

Okay, after driving less than 125 miles, I noticed two small pin head chips on the passenger side front bumper that was obviously done by the same stone as they are practically on top of one another.

I had the 3M on my Monaco Blue, but I don't want the crease dirt line on this light color so I didn't get it. Should I get the 3M just on the front bumper? Also, do you think they can fix the small chip before installing the 3M?

What would fixing a small stone chip entail? I don't want a paint blob.
