The camera guy catches a pro racing driver in a pickup truck on the Nürburgring and it wasn't even the biggest highlight of the video, lol.

Pretty disgusting that the cars following right behind didn't stop to help, those guys need a good punch in the face.

But, but, SUV/Crossovers/Pick up trucks are invincible! In all weather/road conditions and speed!

A CR-V at the Ring? Crazy. I wonder how the Raptor did.

That's painful to watch glad no one was killed. Wouldn't want to be in that stat especially joy driving a CR-V on the Nürburgring. Wonder what was going through the driver's mind when he was in the initial part of the flip? Probably " I'm so totally fu**ed!"

Driving an SUV/Truck/Minivan on the Nürburgring isn't that crazy. Its HOW they are driven on the Nürburgring thats the crazy bit. You have to consider that the Nürburgring is technically a speed-limit-free one-way toll road in the German world. So any and all TüV-legal vehicles can go on the track. Like I said before, I've seen crazier things, like Class-A campers (in case you don't know your campers, those are the ones that look like tour buses). Hell, the Nürburgring themselves have tour buses that take people around the track as well. Check out the webcam of the gate and you will see all kinds of craziness.

So, as long as you are careful, you can drive an SUV around the track no problem. Its when you forget you're driving an SUV and start believing you're driving a Ferrari is where things like this happen.

Painful to watch,... pointless to do the Ring in a CR-V if you're not a Honda test driver during model testing or something related to the development of the vehicle and backed up by the manufacturer.

Glad nobody was hurt tho.

The CSL sounds beautiful and so does that blue R32.

Adenau is the small village near or at the whole Nürburgring.

The only thing I don't get is why carry a bag of trash in the hatch when you're ripping off a hot lap around the 'Ring...

The Ring isn't listed as a track there guys. CR-V's can go on because most of the time it's a public toll road!

Whoops, didn't read this before I posted. Definitely pretty crazy. Have you been there before? I went last summer and my god, it's so much better than you can ever imagine.

Oh yeah, I took my BMW to the track the moment my break-in period was over. I used to live an hour from the track. Its definitely an experience every car person should try at least once in their life. I've been there 3 times. 1st time was to see the 24hr race, and the other 2 times to take my car around the track. However the 3rd time I went, the fog was so bad that driving on the track would have been too dangerous, so we checked out the Werk instead.
