Lightbulb New to me e89 10' and first mods.

So, I have bought a preowned z4 23 2010 one week ago and I have made some minor but I think really cool mods, specially for the interior.
This is my first BMW, I had always own audi and 1 porsche cayenne. So this is a big change for me.
I didnīt see the car live, it was in another city and a friend of mine negotiate and sent it to me.
I was expecting just to give a good detailing, including some glass coating to the paint since it is sapphire black.
When I received the car, it has some minor scratches, dents, etc. So I decide to repaint the whole car to give it a flawless look.
This is the only pictures I had when I was waiting for it to arrive:

So I did:
Whole car repaint
Leather repaint (to give a new fresh look and to fix where the seat belt damage)

And still in process:
New Wheels 19" Staggered Replica

Gloss Black trims and details (also in steering wheel) later I will post pictures finished

With Gloss Black:

Color applied:

Clearcoat:

Still waiting for mounting the new wheels, retrofit side markers, stubby antenna and white angel eyes.
I will paint the grill kidney gloss black with the chrome frame.

So what do you think about it?
The calipers look awefull, but I don't know if they will look any better painting them. Any ideas?

The black dash trim looks good. What was wrong with the exterior paint that required a repaint?

The truth is that I bought this car mostly because it is black. You know that a black paint properly detailed looks amazing. But also any scratch, dent or defect is easily seen.
So the main problem with the paint was
Front bumper scratched and it had holes for the plate screws, I will not mount the front plate so I filled up the holes.
Rear bumper: scratches and cracked paint.
Doors: Few dents and edges damaged, like if the previous owner never care about the car next to him.
Hood: Deep swirls and scratches almost imposible to remove by polishing
Trunk: repainted, but not a good job.
So after checked all these defects, the only parts that had no damage were the fenders. So I decided to paint the whole car except for the roof top.
BTW, I own a bodyshop and car detailing center so I know for sure it's going to be a perfectly executed job, taking care of every detail.

Wow, talking about doing something for the full 100%...! You sure it wasn't easier to buy a new one, lol!

On a more serious note: you said you painted the leather. Never heard of that..?!

Thank you! And about the flag that plate is not the "legal" but there is not big deal about that. Everybody use some flag when adding these kind of plate, the car is german LOL

Thank you! I was thinking in painting the black part of the wheel in silver to have a more dealership look.

...it depends on the offset you choose for the rims.

Looks good. an M-sport front bumper would go a LONG way in pulling the car up to date.

Wow, what a difference. You do nice work. I've never seen someone tint the windshield before. You can't do that where I live, only the sides and back.

The new rims and paint job looks tight.
