The send destinations thing is nice but I use Apple Maps and CarPlay so wouldn't miss that.

The real-time updates is nice but same as previous statement.

The apps, I have a phone for that. Definitely not going to manage apps in yet another place. Feels like going back the old days w/cell phones and iPaqs. Hated multiple devices.

The is my car locked is great for my OCD.

Being able to call BMW to unlock the car is great. Did this once in my X5. Forget how I locked myself out since the car isn't suppose to lock w/the key in the car but I know I have used it once in the last 9 years.

I use it to send destinations to my car from the app. Also to look up destinations with the search.

My understanding was that sending routes to your car doesn't work with US BMWs, but the capability is available in European cars.
I meant to say destinations, not routes. The destination gets sent to the vehicle and then the navigation figures out the rest based on where I am an traffic.

And here you got me all excited that routes finally worked for US cars!

I use it daily, either through the BMW Connected app or BMW ConnectedDrive website:

- Checking SOC (i3)
- Instant heating
- Scheduled heating
- Finding position
- Sending GPS routes

On the app side, BMW is better than Tesla.

I have to dig into the routes thing from the website.
I don't plan routes often but when I do it has been a struggle so far.
