Not even Lux 'lamps/bulbs' are brighter than 3 series.

Not in the flesh they're not. Stand in front of those two cars and you can see a big difference. Equally, the OEM LED rings are omni directional, the e89's aren't which means you only get good looking halos when in front of the e89.

Well I did not say they make your halos look like the ones newer BMW´s have, I stated that they are equaly bright

I'd have to disagree, a good friend works for BMW, and he gave me the exact bulb I should order. If u put my z and his current 3 together it's very difficult to tell the difference even on a bright day. At night they look identical.....I'm very pleased anyway.

Must have thick skin, i have yet to put the top down with heated seats since i got my 35iS in January. Waiting for it to at least be over 15+
It was 10 and sunny in Belfast today, I find the cabin of the z is much better protected than my Audi a5 cab so I've had the top down flat out!

I've driven on the highway at 70mph in 45F weather with roof down, windows up, and climate control temperature set to hottest setting (and dial below the vents on full hot) with level 5 fan speed.

Still need a light jacket on, but it is definitely doable.

Thanks Keeperlit! I received my H8 bulbs, installed them. and I am so much more happier looking at the white light rings than the yellow I thought I would have to deal with the yellow color for a while because it might cost a lot to change, but thanks to zpost and member like you and other guys who are so eager to share and help with all the questions that are posted here.

Looks good to me. I personally don't want them so bright that they burn the retinas of oncoming drivers.

I ordered my Z4 last week and the dealer said I would be getting the 'face-lift' version with 'eyebrows'. Does this mean it will come with the white LED lights as standard, or is that not guaranteed?
