E89 A pillar interior trim removal

Hi anyone has info on how to remove the A pillar plastic trim ? thank you

I think for that you remove the sun visor and the panel pulls free.

start near the top, work your way down then pull the smaller area out from the windshield at the bottom.

Have you tried just googling "removing a pillar trim on bmw"? There are several videos and I would bet the E89 is not that different from other models.

More than likely a pressed to fit metal connector - I would start with a plastic pry bar...

I'm fairly certain that trim piece goes over the trim that the sun visors are connected to. If so you just pull it off starting at the top. A plastic trim tool can help you pull it out enough to get your fingers in there. If the sun visor trim piece is over it you just unscrew the torx screws holding the visors in place and it comes off.

I looked at mine and I agree. The visor needs to be removed to take that trim off.

That photo instruction shows that trim over the top visor trim and that is not the case on my Z4.

Yes, I saw those. It is just odd they do not show those removed in the photo where the trim in question is being removed.
