The rear valance is between the exhaust pipes. Side skirts are called just that or rocker panels.

Ok, thanks, sometimes it's hard to understand some words.
I would clone that black monster if i had the means.................. Probably next year there will be wheels, exhaust and some ECU programming if it is possible to take of and go OEM again, 1 week to go...................... |

In my mind they took a classic looking car and turned it into a boy racer, tuner car, that are a dime a dozen. To me it looks like they cheapened the smooth and graceful lines. I think here is a case of more being less.

The Z4 doesn't need to be modified, but some mods are more "kind" to its style than others. |

i just love that rear valance and exhaust - it does not adversely affect the classic lines of the car; a subject on which I agree with Alan64 completely

Although it would be nice to see a longer 3/4 view of the front to know for sure. The black color makes it hard to judge the lines as well, but I do like the rear valance and exhaust. No offense intended to anyone in love with those wheel, but they remind me of a '70's or '80's style, which I really liked at the time, but it has worn a little thin IMO. . Hamann-tuned Z4
Not sure if this has been posted before but found a sick article on Motortrend.com regarding Hamann's iteration of the latest Z4 model...
