I got my ED reservation letter with the production number today! June 5th at 9:10.

Congrats. I was going to go the ED route for my Z4 but I scheduled my trip to Japan and Australia for the year already. It's definitely on my bucket list for my next car. Maybe next year.

Have a blast. Hope you have some decent top-down driving weather. I took delivery in late January 2010 and didn't even drive my car as there was too much snow and I didn't arrange to have snow tires. Still an incredible experience.

@wdlfbio, the day was my request to fit my hopeful plans. My CA requested 2 other days around that day just in case. Being 3 months out I was hopeful.

@jparnes, will you be posting more photos of your car soon? How does the new M sport rear end looking? I have seen it on a 3 series but not a Z.

Well, I don't have the car yet, but here's a rear shot from the Welt. It's a 3/4 rear shot - best I have right now. You can see the front bumper in my signature photo.

I was a little worried about the black aero kit but it looks good.

I love the Red. It was a tough color call.

I ordered the DSB. Same options as you. I went with the Biege interior.

I had been in the weeks leading up to my visit but when I got there it was sunny and in the 30's. Unfortunately, I didn't make plans to drive because of the weather they had been getting. But my son and I did get our victory laps!
