I'm curious about people that ask other people for advice when they already know what type of advice that person will give. Let's see what type of unbiased advise you'll get from a factory sales rep:

1. Even if he thought the tire is fine, he wants to sell new tires so he's going to say replace it.

2. Even if he thought the tire is fine, he's going to worry about liability of saying it's OK and then worry about getting sued if something goes wrong.

teagueAMX - fair enough. Of course, that is exactly what this board is all about - asking for advice and getting it, from an authoritative source or not. In my experience, many experts are not in the game to make another sale, but to impart knowledgeable advice. The litigation-happy environment in North America does flavour your comments accordingly.
