Can you please clarify your post, its a little confusing. Are you asking for general differences or are you asking about turn signals (which they only difference is pre 2013 they were white blobs rather than chrome.

2014 is when they had the LCI update. I had a 2013, now 2014. The changes are cosmetic, small trim around the vents, chrome on the fender turn signals. Both cars came with the wind screen, but I think was not included in previous models.

I also feel the Navigation program is slightly different. I don't think my 2013 had google search, but 2014 does.

Comparing my 09 35i, DCT, Premium package, cold weather package, NAV, premium sound, 18" Turbine wheels, (stupid original owner ordered new less adaptive suspension and sport seats after spending over $69k MSRP for this car ) in any case when comparing to 2010-2013 35i's there seems to very few changes.
I have driver 2010 and 2012 35i's and again seems to very little performance and cosmetic changes.

Well I believe after the 2010 models BMW figured out the N54's needed a bigger intercooler and a higher capacity oil cooler which is included in all Z4's post 2010 which would make sense since Dinan says 09-10 only for those upgrades.

As far as tuning gains all years 2009+ should yield similar gains since they all run that sweet N54 motor.
