BMW performance Brakes plus Miltek exhaust

Hi All,

Finally got a my BMW performance brakes ( from MWDesign - Lewis Fan) fitted plus the Milltek exhaust too, i had the tips ceramic coated also.

Brakes are still bedding in but already feel much better than stock already!!

Exhaust is about 25% louder, not insane but just right for me!

These shot were taken by the auto shop in sydney (europeanautotech) so proper pics to come a bit later.

Looks great! You can get proper 2piece floating rotors from racing brake for the performance fronts.

Do you have any sound clips of the Milltek? These Brit exhaust systems seem to favour the clamp-on tips. I had one for my Lotus and it gave me no end of trouble from exhaust leaks around joins.

The ONLY rear upgrade that exists for our cars (and retains Parking brake functionality) is upgrading the to the 35iS/Euro 35i rears.

They are 320mm rear disks vs 300 factory on your car.

Yup, I was hoping someone would have a better answer than the one I already had...

I did find these folks, who can drill/slot a new set 320 rotors to match, as well as Zinc plating them to match the front rotors, and a set of new calipers/carriers powder coated to match the front BMW Performance Calipers. A bit more cash outlay, but both the braking performance and the looks will be enhanced. Wrote to them asking for a quote, but haven't heard back yet...

Nice looking upgrades. Qucik question, did you just upgrade the calibers or did you change to a smaller disk? I only ask because the 35is has a larger disk than comes with the BMWPBK. Can you tall us how the set up works?

Thnaks,

Jim

Great job!
I'm really interested to install the same calipers and rotors as yours.
Is it possible to know the BMW P/N of the 2 items?
Cheers

I would like to know the performance brake upgrade as well. I heard the performance brakes for 3 series would work for Z4 but dont want to order unless I know the right part number.
