Dunlop Sport Maxx RT for Summer?
Hello,
I was checking Summer tires to replace my rear ones starting to be worn out and I saw the Dunlop Sport Maxx RT. At the beginning I was focused on Michelin, Continental and Pirelli and then Dunlop .. because of European grades above other brands. (in Europe, Manufacturers of tyres for cars, light and heavy trucks must specify Fuel consumption, Wet grip and Noise classification in order to help consumer to choose wisely tires, cf Wikipedia) Here is what I have found: Brand - Model: Fuel consumption/Wet grip/Noise Dunlop - Sport Maxx RT: C/A/A Continental - Conti-SportContact 5: E/B/B Michelin - Pilot Sport PS2: F/B/C Pirelli - P ZERO: F/B/B Besides, I have found few excellent reviews where they used BMW Z4 E89 and Audi TT S and they appears to be very good. They apparently also come stock on Mercedes C63 AMG, Audi TT RS, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which is a good sign too. Does anyone know what if they worth it? What do plan to buy if you need to change your Summer tires? |
