A-Glaze

My vehicle came with this 'finish'

I knew nothing of it (dealer did it for free) until I picked up the car....well thanks guys, that's really good of you.

BUT.....a week down the line and after opportunities to examine more closely. I have discovered that if you observe the clean paintwork directly it appears all glossy...but observed at an angle, it's all 'blotchy' - with an appearance I can only describe as 'dried-on'raindrops'

As for the windscreen....fine when it's dry...but a complete disaster when wet, wipers smear very badly and cannot exceed about 50mph safely. I have tried special windscreen polish, but at the moment not much luck....so I guess a trip back to the dealer is called for!

I removed those same rain spots by rubbing out with some Maquires Ultimate Compound and Cleaner Wax. Then striped the surface of any coats of wax or finish the dealer put on by washing with dissh soap. Then put 2 fresh coats of Zaino on it. Looks perfect now.

Maguires

I also used Maguires products - good......but MUST look into Zaino.

I know a guy over here who's used it - amazing stuff.
