I feel unworthy
To all the Surgeons on this forum, I must say that I feel like I am in pretty "POSH" company compared to you all..
Cant wait to see some pics of a prototype from phuket (another surgeon) in Thailand.. I bow to your dedication... But I agree the Healthcare issue is best discussed elsewhere. |

OK, folks, I expect to get a mockup from Sujit in a couple days. Latest update:
The polo shirts are available in the same fabric as the Izod Lacoste for $12. The fabric used by Nike (dry-fit) and Dupont (Coolmax) would be $16. Personally, I prefer the cotton blend used by Lacoste. Initial estimates say it will take around $5 - $7 per shirt for shipping to the US. Assuming we don't have to pay any duty, I should be able to ship them to each buyer in the lower 48 states for under $10 using FedEx or UPS. Total per shirt would be in the $25 - $29 range max. Sujit is proposing to have the Z4 logo on the left chest with the curve graphic on the back and the initials "E89" on the sleeve. He is supposed to send me a picture of a black shirt with red embroidery as soon as he gets it from the factory. We need a minimum order of 30 shirts.

^^ nice but I think the 'E89' on it is overkill it excludes other Z4 drivers (even if the silhouet does not match theirs)

I agree on this point, we can just cut that "e89" and also I will make the silhouet lines a little bit thicker

I will let this discussion continue until we reach a consensus and then set up a list of folks who want to order including color and sizes. I will be out of town for a while but will try and keep up with this thread. Perhaps we can allow the discussion to continue for a while and to spread the word in order to maximize the number of shirts to be ordered. This will keep the price down. How about shooting for a May 1 deadline to order?

I agree that the lettering could be a little smaller.
I like the silhouette on the back. Could the Z4 have a little more flair? Z4 in a different font....the attached doc has it in Freestyle script...sorry I could not figure out how to paste this directly into my post.

Shirt size
Here are the shirt sizes
Women S Chest 38" Length 24.5" Women M C 40" L 25" Men M C 40" L 28" Men L C 42" L 29" Men XL C 44" L 30.5" Men XXL C 46" L 31.5" Please note that this is Thailand size, may not reflex US or UK size For fabric, we will choose Izod lacoste (cotton-polyester) style so we can have more choice of color. For Dri-tech fabric we need to order at least 30 shirts for each color.

Instead of E89....would look better with small BMW roundel on sleeve. Also, that blue and red/orange looks nasty.
Well you asked for feedback. |

Looks good...
I agree with most that the "Z4" is too big. (Script looks better than Block) I like the Roundel on the sleeve over the E89. Is there any way to make the silhouette thicker and maybe even BIGGER!?? (It is the only thing on the back.. It should be able to be seen.) Put me in for Three, definitely |

Hi,
I think the silhouette speaks for itself. Don't need "E89" anywhere and make the Z4 loggo in the same color as the shirt so it's there but not too much. Clean and stylish. Let the silhouett stand out! Really hope to get hold of some shirts, big and small, here in Sweden. Have been looking for more E89's on swedish forums but so far with no result! |

This may end up like "trying to herd cats". I hope we can reach a consensus. I am not willing to coordinate or ship out of the US. Shipping within the US will be enough of a challenge.

May not be an issue in Thailand, but in the US, use of the BMW roundel is often ruled illegal without paying a royalty.

Calculate the shipping cost here http://www.thailandpost.com/search_ems_en.asp The price quoted in Thai BAHT (1USD = 33 Baht) For example: shipping to UK with : Int’l Small Packet-Air + Int'l Registered-General total cost is 211 baht = USD 6.29 this will take 10-14 days For US, bulk shipping is the most effective way

[QUOTE=rmorin49;7054913]This will be a big problem if you import into USA, I would rather stay away from BMW logo
