What's your mileage?

Curious to know what your odometer reads. My 2011 just flipped 31k. Other than some issues with my premium sound package I haven't really had any major issues

Just a few hundred from 8k on mine.

Other then the occasional faulty headlamp projection distance, mysterious HVAC problem, and rattling roof and Navi screen, this car has been a delight every time I drive it.

2010 35i with 21K miles ~ 34,000km. Averaging 7500k mi ~ 12,000km / yr.

It doesn't get used for months during winter even if there is no snow or salts on the roads. Most miles are racked up during summer with the top down.

2012 just shy of 20K miles. And that's driving only April to November. I'm not saving this baby for anything - I love driving it too much to save it!

2009 35i with 22,000 miles. Had the HPFP replaced before I owned it, and had one of the 296 wheels replaced due to cracking (BMW covered the cost). No complaints really... My favorite car ever owned!

Mine is my daily and I rack up the miles pretty good. Averaging roughly 50-60 miles a day 6 days a week. We also get some pretty heavy downpours here in South Florida.

36k miles / 59k km here.
HPFP changed under warrenty (2009 35i car)
DCT oil leak repaired twice
No other repairs have been needed so far and I still love the car.

Apart from regular oil changes, the rear brake pads, tires, brake fluid, spark plugs, gas filter, air filter, dct oil and battery have all been changed once. I also had to adjust the roof as it was making contact with the rear deck at the corners. The occasional roof squaks are 90% killed by treating all contact points with silicone oil or similar.

The navi display squeaks while and when closed and sometimes the speakers vibrate on piano and classical music. It is however all forgotten and forgiven when the roof is down and DSC is off.

2011 3.0- 30,800 miles...
Only repairs were for a loose bolt in the rear suspension that was causing a loud "clunk" when going over dips/bumps.
It took them a week to find the issue but they solved the problem.
Also replaced the steering wheel airbag for a discoloring roundel

That's it...runs like a charm!

33200km or 20878 miles on a 2011 35iS. Miles per month are dropping off significantly as winter approaches.

~7,500 km so far on a 2012 35is, which I have and will only ever drive May through October (I live in the Great White North). Only issue so far (fingers crossed) is the dancing driver's side window, which I hope to have corrected when I take it in for its Low Mileage Annual Service.

Loving it!

Lol, I know the feeling. I was at 30,999 last night. It rolled into 31,000 as I pulled into the garage.

13,800 miles here on my MY 2012 35i.

Resolved issues:
- steering rack replacement+software reflash (recall)
- rear console replacement due to ski bag door not opening

Emerging / outstanding issues:
- intermittent headlight aiming issue (can't replicate, may be due to parking on incline or hitting large pothole)
- rear deck squeaking on some roads
- roof noise when closing again the top of the windshield

28,200 miles, 39 months young. No issues; replaced rear brakes after braking for 150-160 mph corner entry speeds.

My new to me 2011 35i. 24,000 total miles (200 miles by me).

Seems like I'll need a new LPFP as I can hear the constant high pitch noise from the back of the passenger and driver seat with the car engine on. Also my front right hood to bumper gap is in need of adjusting. My DIY adjusting isn't cutting it. Hopefully once these two issue are fixed, it'll be smooth sailing.

2009 35i with 14K miles. My biggest headache was the I drive screen that would pop up every time I started the car. The dealer installed software a couple years ago that fixed it and I've been a happy camper ever since although I'm always a little concerned that at some point they may install newer software that may revert it back to popping up.... and then not be able to wind it back to where it is now, which is perfect! (for me). If it is closed when I turn the car off, it stays closed when I turn the car back on. When I bought the car new, It would open every time I started the car no matter what.

Maybe I'm missing some important detail, but isn't the "problem" described here actually normal operation? I can't imagine why I would want to drive around with the screen closed for any reason. Maybe it's just me.

I'd have to check this out again, but I think if you close the screen while the car is on, the next time you start up it remembers and leaves the screen closed.
