sport mode

Have e89 3.0i auto , what’s your opinion please , when using the auto box in sport do you use the stick to the left or prefer using the button option on the console, the difference I’m seeing is the stick just changes the change points and if you use the paddle it remains in manual until you move the stick back , using the button tightens the dampers steering and throttle response , and when using the paddles goes to manual then when you stop it reverts back to auto sport after a short time , is that the main difference?

As you say but when you move the shift leaver across you engage one if two sports modes..press the sports button and throttle response and shift speed increase along with heavier steering..
