Hi everybody, I'm new here and I have the same problem with the colors.
I think it will be saphir black / coral red. Problem is, ive never seen the red color in real. How red is it? And how much red can one stand?
On the other hand there's the white package, but I'm not sure how sensitiv this kind of leather is? So which one???

PS: Bill123 please remove your car-porno pics, there might be kids watching

Maybe red might be too much red for you. I usually get, "wow, it's really red". It's a bold/flashy color. If you're more a conservative type, then pick conservative colors, IMHO. Go for saphire black with black or walnut interior.

it is really red and I love the color but please go see it in person if possible because it has a bit of an orange tint to it - hence the CORAL RED description by BMW; we had a 2003 Z4 with red interior and that was more of a true blood red, this current red is definitely a little lighter with a splash of orange tint thrown in

for me, the hottest color combo right no wis probably the black sapphire with walnut extended leather in the M package or 35is

look at that new walnut interior they are showing,, it would look excellent with saphire black.

I've seen several black and white Zs with red interiors and think they look tasteful. The red isn't too flashy because it's a flat/dull/matte finish. Unlike a lot of Ferrari's & Aston's where the leather is shiny and bright.

I too think the blk saphire and walnut will look really good and I'm waiting to see photos online. On the other hand, that white leather is so classy and of course better quality, looks best with black exterior. I wish they offered the Napa leather in all colors. Anyways, I'm also cosidering AW/Coral Red. I tend to lean towards white exteriors and BMW and Mercedes make great whites, which I like better than Porsche's Carrara White. I have to see the red again, since I have not seen it in a while.

I agree with you entirely on all points. We have the black exterior with awesome white but I think the red and walnut look really good. I have a white X5 35d with saddle and white always look good. I tend to go black or white on the exterior with the coolest interior contrast possible.

jeah I realy need to see this red color in real life. problem is you don't see them much round here. switzerland is neutral and so are the colors of our cars which means all black

is the walnut color similar or same like the one in the e46 m3, maybe as well as in other bimmers, not sure? in the configurator it looks pretty shitty.

well i still got 2 weeks until judgement day

I'm not sure what shade of brown walnut comes close to, but my 2008 BMW 650 cabrio was alpine white with saddle brown interior and it looks great. I had no regrets. It maybe similar shade with walnut. I did not care for the merlot red on the 6 series, I would have picked Indianapolis red interior option for the M6 though.

from the photos I have seen the Walnut is a shade lighter than saddle (I think saddle brown is the cat's meow)

Absolutely!

According to the latest number of Scientific American Magazine there are a number of potential car-buyers that have to be hospitalized as they go crazy about what color they should choose.

So...........black on black is safe and recommended by my headshrink.

black on black always looks good but in Texas a black interior in a convertible is not the best due to the extreme sun/heat

Well guys, thanks a lot for your help so far. I've seen some pics with a black/wallnut combo. Looks great on the pics but still not for me.

I just came back from my first Z4 35i testdrive, a black/white Z4 35i. That combo is just perfect. Looks very posh and sporty. And well this monday I'm going to sign the contract for my brand new Z4 S Drive 35is !!!!! I'll have to wait until end of july, but meanwhile I can look for a good place for wife-swapping (Jeremy Clarkson review)
