The Z4 has a New Big Brother

Ever since I traded an X3 on the Z4, I've missed the extra utility on the rare occasions I need it. The 550i became the "winter beater" but its lease was ending so I have driven the E70 X5 on several occasions lately. The diesel is great but I gotta have a V8. Plus its exhaust note is great.

I really wanted Vermillion Red which is a special order and only available with Sport Activity, not M Sport but I test drove the Alpine White M Sport to try active steering. It has every option I wanted and then some and I'll be doing a lot of traveling and hauling of stuff over the next few months. So I went for it to have it now. So far I love it. The only thing I'd change is maybe upgrade to the M Sport 20s.

Looks great Richard.

Those wheels/tires look fine, and I'd stay away from the low profile tires if were you especially on a beast that size and weight.

Congrats!

You cannot beat that V8 exhaust, but I have Platinum Grey '11 X5 35d on order with the 214s (20"). See how you like the ride with the tires, otherwise I would agree with you to upgrade
