iPod issue...

HI,
Anyone is informed if the Z4 iPod interface has a limit in terms of number of tracks manageable?
I need suggestions in order to understand the strange behaviour of my iPod (or probably of the car interface).

I usually increased the number of tracks onto my iPod in dribs and drabs (each time populating my archive onto my HDD, then copying it onto the 160 Gb iPod).
This procedure has worked perfectly till a week ago, when I reached the number of approx 10.000 tracks, but the empty space was anyway the 60%.

Presently, I connect my iPod to the Z4 interface, but the last 'trance' of tracks could not be recognized by the system.
The worst is that the iPod (or the interface, I don't know) can not exit from the 'temporary procedure' in which usually works till the end of the loading. So it's impossible for me to decide which tracks to play.
The list of tracks that the system presents to me is always the penultimate one, pratically the last playable one, and the new set of tracks is not displayed in che Z4 cockpit.

Clearly, everything is perfect If I play the tracks (also the new set) using the Ipod directly.

Any suggestion??

thanks a lot.
