Anyone able to help with Carly fault codes?

Evening all,

I've just done a fault code check with Carly and the following fault codes came up....

ABS / DSC / Brake:
Dynamische Stabilitaets Kontrolle / DSC
:Rotation rate sensor / Gyroscope / Speed sensor right front line fault
Code: 005EAC
:Lateral acceleration sensor
Code: 005E96
Systems:
Junction Box Passenger / Beifahrer
Heated seat driver
Code: 00A6E0

Now the drivers heated seat doesn't work and never has the time I've owned it, the fuse is fine and as the heater elements are in two sections I'd take a guess at the module under the seat may be at fault, I'll have to investigate this with my DMM.

Now for the ABS codes, I've tried to find this on 'tinternet but I'm not really coming up with anything positive. Can any of you point me in the right direction? I'm not one for sitting on my backside and handing over loads of "hard-earned" when I can do it myself (if I can!!) so if anyone can help out it'll be appreciated.

First thing to do with code troubleshooting for the first time is to clear all of them.

Come back a week or so later and see what you have and take it from there.

The DSC one may be as simple as a wheel speed sensor.

I am experiencing exactly the same issue. Carly picked up the Codes 005EAC and 005E96 which I then cleared with Carly. Waiting until they come back.

OK, as an update....

Bruce (my Z4's name by it's previous owner so I saw no reason to change it!! ) went into my local (well if 30 miles away is local!) BMW dealer for it's positive feed factory recall earlier today. While it was there they were very good and gave it a full check over and found no error codes at all. Which was nice as I'd used Carly to reset them last week. I did give it a check over when I was home and no error codes at all even though I did turn my drivers seat heater on and even that didn't show up.

So that's that for now, but I will keep an eye on it, just in case, meanwhile though my drivers seat still doesn't work so that is on the cards before this coming winter.

So the next job is to up-spec the stereo headunit to a nice OEM bluetooth unit with built-in USB (which my current one doesn't have!).
