How does he keep stealing Trucks? The guy who shot the Dallas police officers

Horrible incident. He is going away for a long time, if he avoids the needle.

What also caught my attention, is how did he keep stealing trucks? He stole 2 on the day this happened. How are they so easy to steal?

I know there are some trucks and SUVs (2008-ish) from Chevrolet that are stupid easy to steal, like smash the window and screwdriver to the ignition.

Fords are notoriously easy to steal. Plenty of Youtube videos of them being broken into, started and pulling away in less than a minute. Stoooooooopid easy

I know at least the nicer chevys in the same time period had engine immobilized keys, but why that wasn’t standard i don’t know.

Supposedly the immobilization keys have been around since the early 90s. You'd think that would be standard on every car now.

Well, we are on a bmw site too...you’d think they’d have a freaking alarm system standard (didn’t when I bought)
