BMW usually makes new entries/versions twice a year, November and March. The M paket will be on the cars on March and the first uncamouflaged fotos will be on around Dec/Jan. It is supposed to have the upgraded 40sdrive setting consisting of remap, oil cooler and bigger fun (eehh... fan) producing 326ps and 450Nm, a different setting in the M adaptive suspension, new rims (bliah) and different front and rear bumpers, the latter with difuser, plus a new interior color reminding fox red (the one like pissed sand, tasteful imo). No info yet about brakes/calipers and quad exhaust which is rather unlikely.
I hope the engine upgrade and the remap on the suspension will be available for retrofit at that time. I will get them that same day.
Plus we will be waiting later a kit for upgrading the standard stereo system. In the basket too.
Add and a quad exhaust (I just wait to see real installed systems by eisenmann and hartge to decide and not the demos that we have all seen around)
MINUS 6.000 Euros and you 've got yourself a deal.
Can't wait......

Looking forward to this package as well.. so much so that I'm delaying ordering my 35i until it's release. Any thoughts as to the cost of the M package?

Will this "M Package" be something BMW can add-on after purchase or does it need to be installed at factory on new Z4's?

What do you think the cost will be? $3k?

I actually don't see the fold line. I paused the vid in several close ups and never could find it. It could be but I doubt it.

I'll say it again: this Z4 has the *same* top as any other...look at 0:06sec into the video, side on view, you can easily see the creaseline there.

Besides you can see it in the high res photos in this thread: http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=304642 same car, same numberplate.

Yes the lines can be seen there.

It is more likely for it to have the folding hard top than for them to change the top as part of the package.

The oil cooler-fan-remap will cost around 1700-2000 euros and will be available for retrofit. Don't know about the rest.

Who knows? This looks hardcore and traditional but the metalic hardtop is way to classier imo.

Yeah, that's sounds more visceral. I loved watching that thing get punished around the ring - one minute+ was not enough!

Seems like the body roll was minimal, too, or maybe it's just me wishing.
