Enigine Bay Clean + Zaino'ed up the Z & Benz

Weekend Car Cleaning Splurge:
Super Cleaned the Z and wife's Benz (C 300- 4 Matic) this weekend.
Zaino'ed both cars with a top coat from Zaino of the High gloss spray.
Leathers interiors were cleaned and buffed.
Installed my newly painted High Gloss Black Front Grills on the Z.
Cleaned the Z's engine bay.
New CF Mirror covers and Ebay rear spoiler are in the house for the Z.
$$ are finally in the bank for my New VRM V710 wheels.
I have Spring Z Fever.
Yet again on Monday morning it is once again snowing.

Nice! What'd you use to clean in the engine bay?

Hand washed and wiped everything down that was dirty/greasy with spray Simple Green.
Coated with Armor All rubbing it in.
Worked very nice and easy to re coat and remove top coat dirt.

Bump this: are there any areas to avoid cleaning/get wet in the engine area? I wanna clean that part also, so dirty.

Usually best to avoid getting lots of water on the air intake (although it's pretty well sealed) and alternator. Ensure engine is cold too.

Bug and tar remover with a very wet fiber cloth towel so as to not scratch the paint.
