Convertible Top Maintenance

Hi guys,

Anyone doing any preventative maintenance on the convertible top? If so, what? Lubrication, adjustments, visual checks, etc?

Hi ! I also put copper grease on the rotation points and end stops, I lubricate the locking mech above the windscreen. I also use ACF50 on all exposed bolts to stop them corroding, in fact I use this around everywhere including under the car, engine bay etc. Keeps all bolts basically looking brand new!!! Anal yes

I ask dealer to lubricate when it gets noisy. I think they use a grease of some sort.

If anything is going to fail its the hydraulic rams with built in sensors and there's no maintenance on these.
