With the Z4 being my "Hare"... this is my "Tortoise"...
(1966 Land Rover Series 2a 88) It's also a hardtop convertible - taking 20min instead of 20sec

My Current Assortment
I've needed to convince the girlfriend that the M Roadster is now an "investment" vs a "third car" since it likely won't depreciate further. It was hard to justify picking up the Z4 and holding onto the M, but I think I pulled it off. So if anyone asks, that's the story. Just picked up the 35is in July with 12K miles and already put another 6K miles on it. The M Roadster is a 98, with imola red interior. The S8 was my daily driver, but that role has been replaced by the Z4, at least until the roads get sanded.

The Z4 is my primary car, and not a DD since I work from home half the time. I drive it year round including in the snow in Connecticut and Vermont.
For runs to the home center or really snowy days I borrow my wife's Volvo XC90.

Z4 is my main drive when the weather is decent (55-85 degrees and not raining). 2011 Infiniti QX56 in winter or when there's more than 4 of us going somewhere.
My wifes 2009 Cadillac STS (only 12K miles) or her 2008 MB C300 Sport AWD. There's only the two of us but what can I say, I like cars. |

My only other vehicle is a Ducati Multistrada 1200S.
My wife has an X3 that I drive when the snow on the roads is deeper than the Z4's rockers. That's pretty rare in NH since the road crews are very good at keeping the roads clear.
