I hope you get this sorted. I would suggest that this is the usual case of the primary connector to the roof module not being seated properly. Almost everyone that fits these doesn't understand fully how the connector seats and clips down. If you don't get it right, the connector doesn't fully seat and can result in failures immediately or intermittently.

+1. Or unplugging the module connector with the ignition on, this sometimes requires the convertible module needs to be reset, typically seeing an indicator lamp on the instrument cluster.
